Inspiration
In the XIXth century, renowned French fan-makers, the original Duvelleroy house at their head, improve the pleating mould. This innovation opens the door for new possibilities: hand-fans with embroidered and embellished fabric, metal sequins and beads. This creation is a contemporary version of the glittery models.
Know How
For this creation, Duvelleroy called upon a master fan-maker who is also a painter to create a unique painted gesture on dark grey silk.

African ebony shaped by a tabletier maker in Spain. Silk.
