The heart-shaped « gorge » (lower part of the frame) is characteristic of the original Maison’s heritage. In this contemporary interpretation, Duvelleroy slides this heart-shaped pattern onto the leaf, playing with transparencies; a bustier appears.
The silk and the organza are cut freehand following a pattern that must match perfectly when the two parts of the leaf are stiffened, pleated and assembled to the sticks.
