Inspiration
As a new interpretation of the palmette shape dear to the original Maison, this creation features both palmettes in ostrich feather and palmettes in weaved textile to create a deconstructed tweed.
Savoir-faire
For this creation, Duvelleroy asked Frédérique Lamagnère, a Parisian textile creator and weaver to imagine an exclusive pattern. On her weaving loom, Frédérique combined precious materials such as gold threads and organza strips to more surprising ones such as audio tape or transparent plastic. These strips of unique tweed are then assembled by the craftsman on the ebony frame, alternating with ostrich feathers.
