Duvelleroy presents the "Nouvelle Fantaisie" capsule collection.
Three fan objects, with fabrics in shifting tones that celebrate the Parisian "froufrou" spirit as it appeared in the original house's catalogs at the beginning of the 20th century.
A condensed expression of the couture and Parisian spirit of Duvelleroy fans,
this model follows the tradition of non-pleated fans. Imagined by Coralie Marabelle, this creation features fabric corollas wrapped around each stick, offering a very contemporary aesthetic that is both sculptural and refined.
Know How
Each fabric corolla is hand-cut with careful attention to proportions in order to maintain the piece’s balance. Two corollas are then reeled around each stick and assembled to the frame in an invisible way to create the ensemble.
Materials
Ebony sourced from Central Africa, shaped by a craftsman in Spain. Lurex made of silk and polyester.
